How to use dualcasting in the elder scrolls v skyrim?

hi, i have been playing skyrim for 2-3 weeks now and i have seen some videos on youtube with people having two spells on both of their hands, i have been trying to do it for ages and each time it keeps putting the spell on the left hand, and i have tried putting the spell in favorite section and putting a number on it then clicking that number twice , it didn't work, can someone please tell me how to fix this?How to use dualcasting in the elder scrolls v skyrim?

In the spell list, or in the favorites list, select a spell and press RT on Xbox 360, or R1 on PS3 to equip that spell to your right hand. Select the same spell or another spell and press LT on Xbox 360 or L1 on PS3 to equip the spell to your left hand. You should notice that the spell has an R or an L next to it, showing which hand it's equipped to. You can now cast them individually, or at the same time if you wish.



If you want actual dualcasting, which makes a single spell more powerful, you'll need to purchase the dualcasting perk for that spell line in the skill tree. Once that is done, you'll equip the same spell in both hands, and push both buttons at once to dualcast the spell for a stronger version that costs more magicka.How to use dualcasting in the elder scrolls v skyrim?
You favorite the spell u wanna cast with f
, go to the game again ,press q and select the spell u want to .duel cast, then press on any number from 1-9 and that spell or weapon or whatever will now be selected if u press the selected number, then you simply press that number twice.

The fire spell is always stuck to your right han otherwise:(

Edit-the guy under me, dual cast talant thingy only does more damage, you can dual cast without it:)

Edit2- if that didnt work i would reccomend you to reinstall it, you may still keep your character by copying the folder skyrim in my documents-%26gt;my games-%26gt;skyrim

Edit3:p- what spell is stuck on your right/left hand or wht happens when you try to favorite bind it to a number, press r to ready your weapon and then press on te selecte key twice?
First get a spell you want to use with your right hand. (Assuming you are on Xbox 360) Press RT to equip it with your right hand.

Secondly, get a spell you want to use with your left hand, press LT to equip it w/ your left hand.



Wallah, you now have dual casting.

I know this might sound a little redundant now but have you bought the duel casting perk for the spells you want in both hands?
Press both the right trigger and the left trigger on the spell in the favorites menu
