Which House should I buy in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I'm not to bothered about the price because I know a cheat to getting each house for free, but I want to know what each house is good for and what each house is bad for, for e.g. I think Solitude house is big and fancy, but Windhelm house has most storage space and weapon racks, plaques, weapons cases and mannequins.Which House should I buy in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
- Breezehome (Whiterun): Good for convenience (next to blacksmith, right inside of front gate, decent amount of storage). Also it's the cheapest house, so that can be a plus. Bad because it's so tiny and you can only get an alchemy lab, no enchanter, mannequins, or anything like that.

- Honeyside (Riften): Actually, one of my favorite houses in the game. It's small, but cute. Good because even though it's a little small, it has a great basement area with enough room for alchemy, enchanting, and mannequins. Also a garden with chickens. Close to front gate (just go inside, turn right), and the only house in the game that you can access without having to go through the city because there's a dock off of the porch in back. Bad thing is it doesn't have a lot of storage.

- Vlindrel Hall (Markarth): Good because it has a simple layout. It has the Dwarven stone architecture (if you like that), and it's got nice alchemy and enchanting areas and some mannequins and such. Also has tons of bookshelves if you are a collector and a display case. Bad thing is that it's in a weird location and not very close to the vendors.

- Hjerim (Windhelm): Good because it has a simple layout as well. It has a great armory, 3 statues, lots of weapon racks and display cases, tons of storage containers, "secret" alchemy/enchanting area, lots of room for books. Bad things: It's in Windhelm, which I think is kind of an ugly city. It's also a buggy house because of the Blood on the Ice quest and if you don't choose to clean up the mess before you upgrade the living room you're stuck with blood stains and bones in the living room and some nastiness in the enchanting area. Also, the downstairs feels a little too big and barren.

- Proudspire Manor (Solitude): Good because it's pretty and "impressive" looking. Three stories, it has a safe in the bedroom, kinda cool. Again has a decent alchemy/enchanting area, 2 mannequins, etc. Bad because it's got a weird layout, and for how big it is you'd expect more storage. Also the lowest level stays kinda dingy looking with cobwebs and stuff, even after upgrading. Plus, your spouse tends to like to sleep on this little bedroll in a side room instead of in the master bedroom when you move to this house.

All in all, I'd have to say my favorites in order are Vlindrel Hall, Honeyside, and Hjerim (Hjerim would be higher on the list if Windhelm weren't so ugly and if the house didn't have the tendency to bug out).
I hate windhelm because of it's always snowy weather . And breezehome in whiterun wasn't a goodone because in whiterun there is my wife's(ysolda) house . And solitude's house is 25000 while Hjerim that is biggest house costs 12000 . So I think honeyside in riften or vindrel hall in markarath are better for me . I wanna buy vindrel hall .Which House should I buy in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
As said above, but them all, you can own more than one at a time.

Plus you've already answered your own question, Proudspire Manor (In Solitude) has NO problems at all, but the Windhelm house (Hjerim) has a buggy start quest (Blood on the Ice), so the logical option is to get Proudspire Manor first, then save it, then get Hjerim :)
okay if you want one house and not buy them all. go for the house in Rifton. after 200 hours of game play ive found this the best orginisation house for your goods and is small enough to not get confused. and trust me even though its one floor its real good for a wife/husband.Which House should I buy in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Just buy all of them.
