Well you have to remember that the same teams that worked on Elder Scrolls 4 were the same ones to work on Fallout 3, then those same teams had to be the ones to try and port all of the downloads over to the PS3 . However that being said, rumors persist that Bethesda has been at work on 'something' since a bit before they finished with Fallout 3, now whether that will be something new or the next stage of Elder Scrolls we will have to see. The new Fallout game (Fallout: New Vegas) won't effect that since it's being made by a different company than Bethesda and is only being published through Bethesda.

When will The Elder Scrolls V come out?They arn't thinking about a fifth game yet. They're working on an ES MMO (massive-multiplayer online), and said for fans not to expect a fifth game any time soon.
It doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. It's probably not even begun the creation process, it may not even be planned yet. Probably 6 years (a figure brought out from my rear end).
Look at Diablo 2 to 3. Its been like what 11 years gap.When will The Elder Scrolls V come out?
The Title is going to be "Elder Scrolls V: Shadow Realm" and a release date has yet to be set.
hopefully really soon i have already spent 300hr on 4
