On Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, how can you become a vampire?

can you choose the option to become a vampire at the beginning of the game, or do you have to figure it out? Does anyone know?On Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, how can you become a vampire?
To become a vampire you first you need to be attacked by Vampires and let them hit you around a bit to increase the chances of you getting the vampire disease. If you do contract the disease, you can wait for three days. On the third day you will recieve a notification that you have a strange thirst. You are NOT a vampire yet. It takes about one month of rest to complete the transformation into the first stage of being a vampire. After you've been bitten and before you've changed, you will suffer some penalties on your character through the effects of the disease (You lose 25 base HP) and the side effect of the transformation (Rockjoint, you lose 25% of melee capability), but both of those go away once you are a vampire. Happy biting. On Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, how can you become a vampire?
No you cannot choose to be a vampire, you can contract the disease from fighting a vampire and (I think) undead enemies as well.

Add: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vampi鈥?/a> This gives you an idea on being a vampire. By the way, try the dark elf is a good compliment with vampirism. On Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, how can you become a vampire?
