If you keep talking to beggars and whatnot around Riften, they will tell you that the Thieves Guild is located beneath the city in the sewers known as the "ratway"
When you join the Thieves Guild, you must complete an initiation test by speaking to Brynjolf, and after some talking you will get the quest "A Change Arrangement". The second quest "Taking care of Business" will complete your initiation into the Thieves Guild.
Though I found Brynjolf in the market place near the pub he can also be found in the ratways
First, enter Riften and find Brynjolf. He’s found on the townsquare. He’ll be waiting at the storefront during daylight. Talk to him and complete his quest.
After doing what he asked for, he’ll ask to meet you at a bar balled the Ragged Flagon, located underneath Riften, in the Ratway.
Talking to him in the Ragged Flagon will kick off the “Taking Care of Business” quest. Complete that, and you’ll be a member of the Thieves GuildHow do I join the Thieves Guild in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Walk into Riften, as soon as You do a shady fellow on Your left will enter conversation with You if You have found one of the unusual gems in the game as I had use that as Your convincing and then begin talking about thieves guild etc.. he will then instruct You to talk to a man in the square at daylight do his quest which evolves two novice level locks You must pick and a man You must place a ring on by pickpocketing once accomplished he will then instruct You into the sewers and continue the quest line to join the thieves guild.
Fighters:Talk to the leader
Imperial Army:Join the legion
Mages:join the mages college
Their is no Theives guild because their is no purpose for it, stolen items are the same as purchased ones.How do I join the Thieves Guild in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
First step:
Place Skyrim disc on desk
Second step:
crush it with a hammer
Third Step:
Buy MW3 and be happy :)
