I am playing the mission where you are supposed to find Esbern in the Rataway warrens in Riften. I've found him, but he shuts the door and want let me in, so I can talk with him. When I talk with him the first time through the little window in the door, he keeps quite and closes the little window. What should I do?The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Rataway warrens problem?
For an old man he is very annoying. Ok, when you meet him, try to remember he is paranoid so tell him that you are the Dragon-born, and don't tell him he is being hunted down. He will let you in after a minute and talk to him and tell him about whats been going on. He will then follow you back to Riverwood. You HAVE to escort him out of the ratway. Once outside fast travel to Riverwood and go to the Inn and that should do it.
