I've just received an email from GameSpot that this games are the most popular two games, I am just wondering whats so great about this games, I've checked them on YouTube, they're not too great, Deus Ex all you do is reading, walking, killing same as Elder Scrolls V you only kill monsters and walk nothing else, can someone explain to me more about this two games?Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Sure... Because running around shooting people over and over again never gets boring...
If you're not interested in something it doesn't mean you have to bash it, besides Skyrim hasn't been released yet so you haven't seen any proper gameplay.
Deus Ex can be any number of things depending on how you play it. It can be a run and gun shooter if you turn the difficulty down, or it can be a stealth game like splinter cell, or it can be about reading and hacking, or about using social skills to achieve your goals. If you haven't played the originals I'd strongly recommend you picking up a copy on eBay or Steam.
ESV hasn't been released just yet, but it's your standard fantasy RPG with high production values and good detail. Again, if you haven't played Elder Scrolls IV or III, I would again urge you to pick those up.

It's all about the story in the game,
Deus Ex and Elder Scrolls games are massive and take a lot longer to play through than your regular game, they are also non-linear which means you don't have to follow a set path through the game, you get to make choices that influence the way the game plays out and ends.
They are popular because people get to play them pretty much how they want to and not a way that the game developer wants them to.

Games are mostly designed for violence over intelligence thats why most people are attracted toward it.
Isn't that what you do in most games?
The way they are made is amazing but it is personal choice and most people like these kind of games
Depends on what you like in your games.
For me, there is only one reason to play these games - choice.
