Do you guys think the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be good?

I really hope so. If the rag doll dead body physics are taken out, and there is at least SOME variety in the voice acting, i would call that a success. Anything beyond that would be amazing
I think Skyrim will have the depth that Oblivion lacked. Sure there were plenty of quests, but there was too much repetition in my opinion. Also the graphics look amazing so far, especially the environments. The thing I most look forward to is the dragons. This is one game I'm pretty friggin excited about.Do you guys think the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be good?
It looks awesome! They're taking stuff they learned in Fallout and also a lot of influence from Bioshock (especially in how spells work). I think it's going to have some darker and gorier overtones. And the Empire has collapsed, which totally changes the game world. I think it's going to be like Bloodmoon (from Morrowind) but more so. Other cool stuff:



-combat requiring more finesse than hit points

-different perks and abilities between types of weapons and spells (i.e. swords vs. axes, fire vs. shock)

-being able to wield two weapons or two spells at once

-85 spells at least

-spells can be cast in multiple ways (ex: fireball can be a projectile, trap, bomb, or flamethrower)

-Mysticism has been absorbed into other schools of magic (finally!)

-spells act like plasmids from BioShock

-bows kill in 1 or 2 shots

-you move backwards slower than forwards, so you can't run backwards as you shoot arrows or spells

-daggers do 10x damage on sneak attack

-awesome kill animations

-late-game Dragon Shouts that let you do cool stuff like slow down time or summon a dragon
yes I do. My suggestion would be to improve the combat system from oblivion and hire good Writers oblivion main story was pretty bad oblivion gate after oblivion gate not a lot of variety. The biggest thing is to make sure it does not have to much glitches and bugs. I think if they do this they got contender with mass effect.Do you guys think the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be good?
it looks amazing..and enemies are gonna be alot togher nad well bigger...espically withthe dragons...omg...dragons!!! see theres been no dragons in the games beacuse the whole point of the series was the fullfilment of the profecies...and now the dragoans have finally awaken...thats epic..and though i was surprised at first and maybe a little..not liking the idea of them adding fallout type perks in the game..but ive been thinking about it and it just might be really freakin awesome with perk type of abilities in this game..i think it will improve combat in ways that we have yet to imagine.
