What should I get Gears of War 3 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I am getting a and i need to know already MW3 cuz I heard its a big deal but cant decide on the 2 up there PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!What should I get Gears of War 3 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

Personally, I would get Gears of War 3. The first two Gears were amazing. I prefer shooter games to role playing games like Skyrim. I think role playing games for me get boring.What should I get Gears of War 3 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
