Does it benefit you to pick up everthing in Skyrim the elder scrolls V?

I'm new at this game and i was wondering if its good to take all the items u can and sell them. Or will that take to much time?Does it benefit you to pick up everthing in Skyrim the elder scrolls V?
If you whatch your weight limit carefully, it can be very benificial to loot items in the wonderfull world in skyrim, but only if the items weight to value ratio makee sense. For example, if an iron mace weighs, say 17 pounds, but only have a value of 23, that isn't really helping you out. On the other hand, if a dwarven mace weighs 26, but has a value of 126, then by all means pick it up. In other words be a picky looter and you will profit.
It's a good idea because it's a quick way to make money by selling your loot to stores. But if you don't want to keep any of the enchanted items that you've looted, you can disenchant them and then enchant other items to raise your enchanting skill. Picking up weapons and armor that are better than your current ones is smart for obvious reasons.

It really depends on how you play the game. Personally, I like to pick up everything that I have enough room for in my inventory that's worth a decent amount of gold, but I'm sort of a perfectionist when it comes to rpgs.Does it benefit you to pick up everthing in Skyrim the elder scrolls V?
Always pick up anything that doesn't weigh anything (gold, arrows). Also harvesting the various plants can come in handy when doing alchemy. U can convert them to potions and sell the potions (and build your alchemy skill in the process).

As for it taking time...it doesn't matter. U are not time restricted in the game.
The sell back value is quite low to stores unless you have high level of speech and perks for it.

Overall it better to just visit dungeons that have chest with high contents of money and nice items laying around.

plus early game drops aren't really that great unless u explore alot.Does it benefit you to pick up everthing in Skyrim the elder scrolls V?
In my opinion, the only things you should pick up are things that are better then your current armor, things that sell for well, quest items and materials for crafting things (so that you can get your skill up/create better armor).
I only pick up diamonds and rare stones, and anything I can that is worth money then go to the market in Riften and sell sell sell
you and you're companion will have a weight limit. best to pick up tradeskill stuff or things that will sell well
