Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution & The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I've just received an email from GameSpot that this games are the most popular two games, I am just wondering whats so great about this games, I've checked them on YouTube, they're not too great, Deus Ex all you do is reading, walking, killing same as Elder Scrolls V you only kill monsters and walk nothing else, can someone explain to me more about this two games?Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

If you're not interested in something it doesn't mean you have to bash it, besides Skyrim hasn't been released yet so you haven't seen any proper gameplay.
Deus Ex can be any number of things depending on how you play it. It can be a run and gun shooter if you turn the difficulty down, or it can be a stealth game like splinter cell, or it can be about reading and hacking, or about using social skills to achieve your goals. If you haven't played the originals I'd strongly recommend you picking up a copy on eBay or Steam.

ESV hasn't been released just yet, but it's your standard fantasy RPG with high production values and good detail. Again, if you haven't played Elder Scrolls IV or III, I would again urge you to pick those up.

In the case of both games, ESPECIALLY DX:HR, you're missing out on half the greatness if you didn't play the original. Seriously, Human Revolution is so much more appreciable having played the original game.Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
It's all about the story in the game,

Deus Ex and Elder Scrolls games are massive and take a lot longer to play through than your regular game, they are also non-linear which means you don't have to follow a set path through the game, you get to make choices that influence the way the game plays out and ends.



They are popular because people get to play them pretty much how they want to and not a way that the game developer wants them to.

Games are mostly designed for violence over intelligence thats why most people are attracted toward it.
Isn't that what you do in most games?



The way they are made is amazing but it is personal choice and most people like these kind of games
Depends on what you like in your games.





For me, there is only one reason to play these games - choice.

Obviously Skyrim, AC: Revelations follows the same old combat from the old games which might be a turnoff to someone looking for a more newer combat system. It's still a great game, with better story telling then the past AC's, but Skyrim blows it out of the water, the graphics, huge world, the variety, and the hours and hours of gameplay. Let's say you finish Revelations, all you're going to do is either replay it or do side missions. Skyrim you can basically do anything such as turn to a werewolf and kill people or if you see a mountain from the background you can actually travel up there and climb it to it's peak, which is amazing. Ahh. Its the wonderful magic of "torrents".



Firstly you download a torrent client. uTorrent or BitTorrent for example

Then you go to thepiratebay.org and search for "skyrim".

You search for a torrent with A LOT of Seeders (SE) and little Leechers (LE) and then download that torrent and open it up with the client you installed. When the torrent is downloaded, you simply install Skyrim from the folder the torrent was downloaded to.
